Background:
Freeman’s business more than doubled in size due to significant business growth within a twelve month period. It was critical the high levels of service continued to be maintained whilst at the same time attracting the right people who were the right fit and had the appropriate experience. They would have to be committed and able to demonstrate where applicable, leadership potential to drive the necessary change through the business.
Purpose:
Go Fish Talent was bought into Freemans as a virtual human resource service to affect some quick wins and to work with them to build the platforms and capability necessary to meet the demands.
Action:
A plan was put in place to build strong platforms around attracting, developing and retaining their best asset – their people. This included building job descriptions using Lominger Architect and Human Synergistics leadership programmes for the management team. Through the use of these tools the information can be used for regular performance appraisals and development.
This enabled the business to continue to plan for both current and future people resource to ensure they retained their competitive edge as well as continue to dekliver the ultimate customer experience.”.
